A four star General, Mark A. Welsh lll completed a post as the 20th Chief of Staff of the Air Force, from August 2012 to July 2016. From his senate-confirmed term, he acted as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and worked in the Pentagon as a top military advisor.
In General Welsh’s outgoing speech, he said, “The most important mission of all branches of the military is to train the next generation of Drone pilots and support personnel.”
